Will Vijay Salgaonkar outsmart modern forensic science in Drishyam 3?
The genius of the Drishyam universe doesn't rely on explosive action or CGI spectacles. Instead, it thrives on pure psychological maneuvering, law enforcement loopholes, and the moral ambiguity of protecting loved ones.
As excitement builds for the third chapter, mystery fans and cinema analysts are breaking down where the story could head next. Here are the top plot theories circulating among crime-thriller enthusiasts.
1. The Evolution of Forensic Science
In Drishyam 2, Vijay managed to swap DNA samples and remains, leaving the prosecution with a weak case. However, modern forensic technology moves fast.
Theory suggests that the new storyline will introduce advanced digital forensics, surveillance tracking, or cold-case breakthroughs that challenge Vijay's meticulous planning. For a man who built his defense on traditional alibis, modern tech presents an entirely new threat.
2. Meera Deshmukh's Final Stand
For Tabu's character, Meera Deshmukh, the conflict was never purely professional—it was deeply personal.
While Vijay views his actions as defending his daughter, Meera views hers as demanding justice for her son. Many analysts believe the emotional core of Drishyam 3 will pivot away from police procedure and focus on a direct psychological showdown between two parents who have nothing left to lose.
3. The Double-Ending Rumor
One intriguing theory gaining traction across film forums is the possibility of alternative cuts or a complex double-climax. With parallel productions taking place across regional industries, the creators could weave a narrative where the legal outcome hinges on a split-second decision made in the final courtroom scene.
Conclusion
Whether Vijay manages to secure permanent freedom or is forced to make the ultimate sacrifice for his family's safety, Drishyam 3 promises an unforgettable conclusion.
